Do you provide the alcohol?
No. California liquor laws prevent mobile bartenders from selling alcohol directly. We operate as a service-only model, which actually saves you money. We provide a complete shopping list based on your guest count and menu, you purchase the alcohol at retail pricing, and we handle the setup, cooling, and professional service.
What is included in the bar setup?
We supply all standard bar tools, including cocktail shakers, bottle openers, pourers, ice scoops, and bar mats. You provide the physical bar counter (or rent one from us), the glassware, and the ingredients on the shopping list. Are your bartenders licensed and insured?
Yes. All KBS team members are certified in responsible beverage service, and our company carries comprehensive general liability and liquor liability insurance. We can provide certificates of insurance (COIs) to your venue upon request.
How many bartenders do I need for my event?
We recommend one bartender for every 50 to 75 guests for beer and wine service, and one bartender for every 50 guests if you are offering a full bar or multiple custom signature cocktails.
