1. Are your Bartenders certified?
We only provide the most experienced and professional bartenders for your party. All of our bartenders hold certifications from various Bartending schools and programs, but all of our bartenders have many years of on the job experience and are more than qualified to handle your event.
2. Is your company Licensed and insured?
Yes, we carry $2 million dollar general liability insurance and $2 million dollar Liquor Liability. Kevin's Bartending Services is licensed with various state and counties licenses.
3. How far in advance do I have to reserve your services?
The more notice you give us, the better. Planning a party takes work and the more planning you do the better the party. We suggest reserving your date as soon as the arty is confirmed. Try to contact us at least 2 weeks prior to your event, but don't be afraid to call us at the last minute. We'll do our best to help you out!
To help ensure availability for your event, please make your reservation NO LATER THAN 48 hours prior to the date of the event.
Last minute services will be charged an additional fee.
4. What areas do you service?
We serve Northern and Southern California, Nevada, Texas & Arizona with locations in Sacramento, Fresno, San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County CA, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, Las Vegas & Phoenix. We serve the entire surrounding areas of each city.
5. How many bartenders do I need for my party?
a general rule you should hire one bartender and one bar back per 100
guests. If you are expecting a lot of guests please try to notify us well
in advance so that we can arrange the schedules of several bartenders.
6. Can I buy my own alcoholic beverages or can you supply alcohol?
Yes, you can supply your own alcohol. We can assist you with a menu and shopping list with correct quantities and selections to fit your events needs. You will provide the ice and all the mixers such as soda, water, and juices. You also provide garnishments such as cherries, limes, olives and those cute little umbrellas. Tell us what you need and we'll arrange it.
7. Can Kevin's Bartending Services provide alcohol to my event?
NO, KBS does not offer cash bar options at this time!!!
8. Do you supply portable bars for my party?
Yes, depending on your location we supply portable bars for an affordable price. For events further out an additional delivery charge will apply.
9. The theme of my party is Beauty and the Geek; will your bartenders dress up like a Geek for my party?
bartenders love to dress up and will be more than happy to accommodate theme parties.
We suggest providing any costumes as we charge a costume fee to rent
something appropriate. Generally our bartenders will arrive in a tuxedo
or nicely fitted suit.
10. My party is going to be pretty casual; does your bartender have something other than a Black/ Whites uniform?
our bartenders can come dressed in jeans, Hawaiian shirts to fit your island
theme, or anything you require. Our bartenders are professional, but also
want to have a great time and will wear anything you want. Let your
11. Do you charge a gratuity on your invoice?
do not put gratuities on our invoices unless directed to do so by the client.
Gratuities are left to your discretion, but a gratuity of $75.00 per 4 ours is
standard if client is tipping bartender. However we do ask that you allow our
bartenders to display a professional looking tip jar so that guests can tip if
they so please. Generally tips from the party thrower are not expected if
a tip jar was present.
12. Do you require a deposit?
All parties will be required to sign a contract with Kevin's Bartending Services.This is why a deposit is generally not required, but if a deposit is required we will advise you at time of booking. Kevin's Bartending Services has hundreds of satisfied customers and repeat customers every week all over the nation.
13. What happens if someone gets drunk at my party?
Our Bartenders are certified at bartending schools to silently monitor what each
guest drinks and will politely refrain from serving beverages to those guests
who are pushing the limit to lessen the liability of the person providing the
alcohol. If a situation occurs our bartenders are trained to diffuse the
situation in a friendly and tactful manner.
14. How can I pay for the event?

16. Do you offer discounts?
Yes, we offer discounts to military, police officers, fire fighters, and teachers(When booking please tell us if you qualify for discount, we will not honor after contract is sent out. Verification requires getting discount). We offer discounts to clients that review our service on YELP.COM, Wedding wire, or any other review site. 17. What is this I heard about a referral reward system KBS is offering?
Here at KBS we love to reward our clients, their family and friends. For every refer you a point, total 5 points and you get a reward. Simply put, if you know of anyone that is having any sized party(10- 1000's guests), refer them (make sure they say your name) and when they book with KBS YOU get cash prizes,certificates, tickets or free hours off your next party. * You do not need to be a client to participate. We just need a name and address to reward you.
18. Does KBS offer L.E.A.D. or R.B.S. training for employees?
Here at KBS we do indeed offer L.E.A.D. and R.B.S. training for all hospitality, retail and food and beverage staff in the state of California. We partner with the Alcohol Beverage Control of California to certify all establishments that serve alcohol and hold liquor licenses in the state of California.
